Developing a concept and production plan that modernized SPA Groep’s brand and website while preparing the project for full execution.

CHALLENGE
SPA Groep, an institution providing training for sanitation workers and advisory services in the AMBOR sector, had an outdated brand identity and website. There was no clear structure within the different, classes, courses and trainings the company is offering what resulted in clients and trainees who didn't even know what existed. The goal was to create a platform that employees could navigate with pride, easily access training, and receive clear guidance, while modernizing the overall visual identity.

APPROACH
Working closely with the manager, I conducted internal interviews with staff to understand their needs and pain points. Based on these insights, I developed multiple homepage concepts that balanced functionality with a fresh, modern aesthetic.
To retain brand recognition, we kept purple as a primary color but refreshed it for a modern look. Sustainability, a key value of the organization, inspired the choice of green as a secondary color.
We collected all data of the services that SPA is offering and structured them into logic categories and a clear and clean user experience to navigate the website.
I leveraged my network to bring in a photographer, copywriter, and web developer, and together with client approval, I drafted a full plan for photography, copy, and website development. The concept was fully prepared for production when the project was paused due to partner restructuring.
Throughout, my role combined creative and project leadership with UX/UI design, ensuring that both user experience and visual identity were aligned with the client’s goals.
