An illustrated coloring book, from idea to publication.

CHALLENGE

I wanted to create a playful, imaginative product that goes beyond standard coloring books — one that invites children into a rich visual world. The project started as a personal birthpresent for my nephews, but eventually evolved into a fully developed concept ready for independent release.

APPROACH

An original visual universe centered was created around sea creatures and castles, combining fantasy and exploration into a coherent narrative world. Starting from hand-drawn illustrations, I focused on creating drawings that are detailed yet open enough for children to interpret freely through color.

The concept balances structure and imagination: recognizable themes that spark curiosity, paired with compositions that encourage creative freedom. I designed the book as a complete experience — from the illustration style and pacing of the pages to the overall tone and accessibility for the users.

I am currently overseeing the full production process, including layout, print preparation, and distribution, ensuring the final product stays true to the original creative vision.
